The Terminator

By James Cameron

Synopsis

In a post-apocalyptic future, a humanoid robot is sent into the past to execute Sarah Connor, a young woman whose unborn child must save humanity.

An assumed B movie in which machines, although a symbol of the benefits of progress, have enslaved our world. The Terminator alerts us to its omnipotence, to the mortal nature of Man and to the importance of controlling technology.
