Michael Cimino, un mirage américain

By Jean-Baptiste Thoret

Synopsis

A biographical journey, into the films, the life and the memory of Michael Cimino, who passed away in 2016, at the age of 77, after spending twenty years dreaming of films that never saw the light of the day. Accompanied by the voice of the director during a journey of more than 2,500 miles in the American West, this documentary is also a cartography of the chimeras of America and its brutal history, which deeply haunted the man and his cinema.
