Synopsis

After uncov­er­ing a mys­te­ri­ous arti­fact buried beneath the Lunar sur­face, a space­craft manned by two men and an arti­fi­cial intel­li­gence com­put­er is sent to Jupiter to find its origins.

Through a sci­ence fic­tion block­buster, which dares abstrac­tion, Stan­ley Kubrick ques­tions the place and soli­tude of Man in the cosmos.
