He studied acting at drama school Cours Florent and won the César Award for Most Promising Actor in 1990 for his role in Éric Rochant’s Love Without Pity. In 2001, he wrote and directed his first feature film My Wife Is an Actress. Alongside his filmmaker career, he worked as an actor for cinema (Lucas Belvaux’ Rapt, Steven Spielberg’s Munich…), television (series Ad vitam…) and theater (“Race” by David Mamet, “The Son” by Florian Zeller). Les Choses humaines is his seventh feature film.
