Ninja Thyberg

Born in 1984 in Gothen­burg, Swe­den, she grad­u­at­ed from the Stock­holm Acad­e­my of Dra­mat­ic Arts in 2015. She direct­ed sev­er­al short films since 2009 fol­low­ing the same theme: treat­ing social issues via the prism of sex­u­al­i­ty. In 2013, her short film Plea­sure was pre­sent­ed at Crit­ics’ Week. Plea­sure, adapt­ed from her short, is her first fea­ture film.
