Mareike Engelhardt

After study­ing com­par­a­tive lit­er­a­ture, art his­to­ry, psy­chol­o­gy and con­tem­po­rary dance, Mareike Engel­hardt dis­cov­ered cin­e­ma as an assis­tant direc­tor to Katelle Quil­lévéré, Patri­cia Mazuy, Roman Polan­s­ki and Volk­er Schlön­dorff. Rabia, devel­oped at La Fémis script work­shop, is her first fea­ture film.
