Julian Higgins

Born in 1985 in New Hamp­shire, he holds a BFA in Film from Emer­son Col­lege and an MFA in Direct­ing from the Amer­i­can Film Insti­tute. He cur­rent­ly teach­es direct­ing at both insti­tu­tions. His short films won dozens of prizes, includ­ing the Gold Medal Stu­dent Acad­e­my Award. His short Win­ter Light was a top ten final­ist for the 2016 Oscar. God’s Coun­try is his fea­ture debut.
