About

Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, he stud­ied at the film and tele­vi­sion depart­ment of the Tel-Aviv Cam­era Obscu­ra School of Art, and then direct­ed short films and com­mer­cials for over ten years. His short film The Flood was screened at the 2002 Berlin Film Fes­ti­val where it won the Crys­tal Bear Award. His fourth fea­ture, Skin, an adap­ta­tion of his short film of the same name which won the Acad­e­my Award for Best Live Action Short Film, was select­ed in com­pe­ti­tion at the 2019 Deauville Film Fes­ti­val. Gol­da is his fifth fea­ture film.
