Always attracted by fantastic films, he grew up in Atlanta and attended the University of Georgia where he met A. J. Bowen and Jacob Gentry with whom he co-wrote and co-directed The Signal, a science fiction triptych which explores the themes of paranoia linked to mass media. He then made contributions to other film anthologies as well as an episode of the TV adaptation of Creepshow. His first solo film, The Ritual, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. The Night House is his second feature film.
