Bartlett Sher

Born in San Fran­sis­co, he was the artis­tic direc­tor of Seattle‘s Inti­man The­atre before being named res­i­dent direc­tor at the Lin­coln Cen­ter The­ater in New York City. He was nom­i­nat­ed sev­er­al times for his stage pro­duc­tions and won a Tony Award for his pro­duc­tion of Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein’s South Pacif­ic. He is cur­rent­ly direct­ing a cham­ber opera pro­duc­tion of Lynn Nottage’s Inti­mate Appar­el. Oslo is his fea­ture debut.
