A graduate of the Paris National Superior School of Decorative Arts (ENSAD), Agathe Riedinger is a writer, director and photographer. She experiments with various narrative modes ranging from excess to irony, sometimes deliberately vulgar or surreal, in order to question a certain vision of the world and discuss themes dear to her heart such as emancipation and the female condition. She directed the short films Waiting for Jupiter (2018) and Eve (2019), both selected by numerous film festivals. Agathe Riedinger recently directed her first feature film, Wild Diamond, presented in competition at the last Cannes Film Festival.
