Joachim Trier

Born in 1974 in Copen­hagen, his fea­ture debut Reprise received the 2007 Aman­da Award (Norway’s Oscar) for Best Nor­we­gian Film, Best Direc­tor and Best Script. Oslo, August 31^st was select­ed for Un Cer­tain Regard at the 2011 Cannes Film Fes­ti­val and nom­i­nat­ed for the César Award for Best For­eign Film. Loud­er Than Bombs, his first film in Eng­lish, was select­ed at the 2015 Cannes Film Fes­ti­val. Renate Reinsve, the main actress of The Worst Per­son in the World, won the Award for Best Actress at the last Cannes Film Festival.
