Cédric Nicolas-Troyan

Born in France, he stud­ied at 3iS, the Inter­na­tion­al Insti­tute of Image and Sound. After sev­er­al years free­lanc­ing in visu­al effects, he was tapped by Method Stu­dios in Los Ange­les where he even­tu­al­ly became Chief Cre­ative Offi­cer. He then direct­ed com­mer­cials and a short film, Car­rot vs. Nin­ja (2011), before he made his return to visu­al effects for Rupert Sanders’ Snow White and the Hunts­man (2012). In 2016, he made his fea­ture debut with The Hunts­man: Winter’s War.
