Jérémie Guez

His first nov­el “Paris la nuit” is pub­lished when he was 21. He wrote lat­er three oth­er crit­i­cal­ly acclaimed crime nov­els, includ­ing “Bal­ancé dans les cordes”, 2013 SNCF Crime Nov­el Prize, which was adapt­ed for the screen in 2018 by Yann Gozlan under the title Burn Out. In 2014, he co-wrote Jalil Lespert’s fea­ture film Yves Saint Lau­rent. His fea­ture direc­to­r­i­al debut Blue­bird was pre­sent­ed at SXSW in 2018. The Sound of Philadel­phia is his sec­ond film.
