(2006), LOL (2008), Dal­i­da (2016) and The Book of Won­ders (2023), among oth­ers, Lisa Azue­los denounced forced mar­riage through the doc­u­men­tary 14 mil­lion screams (2014). Com­mit­ted to wom­en’s rights, she also direct­ed Yolove (2019), a doc­u­men­tary which focus­es on sex­u­al and aca­d­e­m­ic harass­ment in the wake of the MeToo wave.
